Loving the new pup

Great 1st gig...
Ed (mk II) wasn't the only "virgin" (as Claude called me) last night. Really good (despite the worst that the student union sound demons could do) and I really did enjoy it, (it may not of lookde like it as someone said - but hey, at my age I don't bounce as well as I used to, and I was listening carefully). Sorry I had to dash off after the set, would have liked to buy a round for the band (The Creelies seemed to be doing OK in that line). I see why they follow the band, and I'm very happy to do their site for them. I may not make as many gigs as them but I will be popping up at a few more. Oh yeah, the EP has been ripped and installed on my mp3 player and has had a play or 2 already...

Thankyou for the kind words and for all making the treck out into the east end to watch us surface briefly out of exile. Terry, british people are notoriously not bouncers, i find that the secret is usually to look at people's feet - if they are tapping quietly away beneath the canopy's you can spot british appreciation. Thanks for coming down and the vote of confidence. I look forward to the opportunity of raiding your wallet when the next storm hits! Glad you guys enjoyed Edwin, he is a maverick talent and we were really really pleased with his playing and performance at the first gig - and more importantly he came out with me and confronted the city in soho as the the others dispersed into the night. Take care maestro's and crazies and look forward to seeing soon when the furies re-emerge x

Maybe next time...
Jamie, maybe next time they'll manage to get the gig off on time and I'll have more time to buy that round of drinks and try and talk some of the band into registering on "The Creelies" site and popping in now and again to stir things up a little :-)
