rocked

Really good! it rocked...You have the best audience. A really really noisy audience!! Did someone see Lizyyyyyyyyyyyy? The songs were great...shame it was a bit short. But beware ... red light districts... not good for image. Ed and Ben have the best pictures again as they were in the blue... I m really looking forward to your next gigs! Soon I hope! And thanks for cd :-)))))

hmmmm

I know its been a traumatic time for you lot recently, and some of this might not help, but I want it said... I really think that it is a mistake shifting Jamie to the side. I realise the need for a cohesive line-up and all that, and I know you are only beginning with this format, but: a) you can't have a front-man sitting down, unless you're elton john b) Jamie IS the charisma. Everyone loves his chat, his madness and the focus he gives. Ed has got a fantastic voice and writes great songs, but I don't think that he has the stage presence to pull them off with the same gusto. Maybe he has the more 'suitable' voice, but if you weigh this up against the energy and life that Jamie gives, I think that Jamie is the best man for the job. If you want to be signed, put Jamie in front, he'll get you noticed, at the moment you aren't making an impression. Jamie has made leaps and bounds with his voice over the last year and he just keeps getting better. I've never seen anyone chomping at the bit like Jamie was that evening. c) with the pressure off Ben, I think that he had his best gig of all! d) some of the songs are beautiful, but you need more life/energy and upbeat music at a live gig, at the moment you are making a transition from a rock band with a different style and a life of its own (mistakes included) into a mainstream, normal, very tight, musically excellent, but boring (sorry) band. People want stuff that's going to get them going and grab them, even if it isn't as proficient as some of the other stuff out there. Keane and Coldplay already exist. You need to be forging new ground! Anyhow, thats a little rant, written extremely quickly, but I feel it needs to be said. Sorry if any of it offends, but it?s the way a lot of people at the gig felt both new and old fans.

I wasn't there but I agree

Sadly I didnt make it to the metro gig, but from what I have heard, I can only imagine it being a mistake to move Jamie. He has got a personality that actually shines through when he sings, in a way like he is caressing the music (eww that sounds really weird but hey) I also think his voice is stronger than Ed's. I REALLY hope this doesn't offend also, because that is certainly not my intention. much love xxxxx
